Testimonial for Girish Khadilkar
Whenever the name Girish Khadilkar comes to mind, the first image that appears before my eyes is his cheerful enthusiasm and ever-smiling face.
I first came to know Girish about ten to twelve years ago at Taljai, Pune, as an excellent physiotherapist. Over the years, I have repeatedly witnessed the depth of his expertise.
One of Girish’s special qualities is his ability to make people perform various exercises while keeping them engaged in lively conversation, so that they never feel bored or burdened by the workout. His skill in continuously talking and motivating while simultaneously guiding exercises is truly remarkable.
Rather than restricting us to a fixed set of exercises, he introduced a wide variety of movements and training methods, which both my wife, Surekha, and I have practiced under his guidance.
Girish strongly believes that health improves not only through exercise but also through activities such as cycling, taking long rides, and spending time in nature. Following his guidance, we have visited many beautiful natural locations around Pune, and these experiences have become some of our most memorable moments.
Along with physical fitness, Girish places great emphasis on mental well-being. Because of this, many people seek his counseling and guidance to maintain their mental health.
Instead of merely prescribing exercises or treatments for a painful area, Girish carefully identifies the specific nerve, muscle, or underlying cause responsible for the pain. This unique approach distinguishes him from others. His method reflects his relentless study, contemplation, and commitment to understanding the human body.
Through his continuous research and exploration, he has developed techniques that have helped treat several conditions that were previously considered difficult or impossible to cure. The innovative methods he has developed are worthy of doctoral-level recognition. However, remaining confined to one place or one idea is not in Girish’s nature—he is always learning, exploring, and evolving.
Today, at the age of 79–80, I enjoy good health. I have successfully climbed Mount Girnar three times and had the privilege of receiving the blessings of the sacred Guru Dattatreya Padukas at the summit. Two to three years ago, I also completed the 40-kilometer Girnar Parikrama. A significant share of the credit for these achievements undoubtedly goes to the exercises and training that Girish has guided me through over the years.
It is my sincere prayer to God that the maximum number of people benefit from Girish’s profound knowledge, deep study, and dedicated work.
